Frei nach Malerei / Based on Painting

Painting, the earliest artistic medium in history has regularly been pronounced dead. 
Nevertheless in all kind of  media of contemporary art there is a reference to painting.
The exhibition will show  positions and works based on painting in all kind of artistic media except painting. Painting in terms of video, photography, objects, installations.
