Claudia Angelmaier (Leipzig) Photography

Combining and employing photocopy and photgraphy in her calculating manner, Claudia Angelmeier is leading us from profane arrange, ents to the construction of images of nature. The mapping character of photography is reduced to absurdity.

Alexander Braun (Bonn), Installation

For AlexanderBraun history has become the occasion for a poetic study based on tracking and a dreamy installation.

Cornelia Felten (Dortmund), Installation, Photography

Cornelia Felten takes the research of her own family history between exoticism and longing for the faraway as a starting point for a work on the border between photography and painting from which in turn an installation as a fictuous reconstruction is evolving.

Malgosia Jankowska (Berlin), Drawing

The personnel in Malgosia Jankowskas works is depressed by threatening scenarios. In her drawings we witness unexpected encounters or silent confrontations within a scenery with claustrophobic traits.

Claudia Lindner (Leipzig), Photography

In her series "Auf dem Wasser gibt es Inseln, auf dem Festland gibt es Seen" Claudia Lindner is defining a territory fed by both imagination and imago, in which longing, dreams and refelctiveness are annihilated.

Ming Ling Lok (Dortmund), Video

The video works by Ming Ling Loks are decelerated observations whose motifs are borrowed from everyday life and nature. By the way of processing, the moving image medium is placed in the proximity of painting.

Arno Schidlowski (Hamburg), Photography

"Jasmund" is the name of the project, in which Arno Schidlowski shows the popular northern German natural reserve as a space for projections of German dreams of nature as well as a concrete landscape existing as such.
