Rona Rangsch develops her artistic concepts starting from unusual associations and view points detected by her unprejudiced senses. The elaboration of a project is following guidelines not unlike scientific methodology that are nevertheless allowing for playful aspects. The realization by means of media ranging from photography over video and sound to 3D and vector animation is often completed by an installative presentation.
The interpretation of geophysical, climatic and/or socio-cultural particularities being at the core of her current works, travelling has become a crucial element  in her life as an artist.
She was awarded several international residency grants.
