15 Künstlerinnen aus Kiew, Odessa und Cherson präsentieren im August ihre Werke im Künstlerhaus Dortmund. Mittels Druckgrafik, Fotografie und Video zeigen sie ihre ganz persönliche Sicht auf den Krieg in der Ukraine. Die Ausstellung beginnt am 170sten Tag seit Beginn des Krieges. Eingeladen und kuratiert werden die Künstlerinnen von Ira Gvozdyk. 
Ira Gvozdyk ist seit März zusammen mit ihrer Tochter, Mutter und Schwester als Artist in Residence im Künstlerhaus Dortmund zu Gast. 

"On the morning of February 24, at 4 a.m., the Russian Federation launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine along the entire length of the common border, as well as from the territory of Belarus. Thousands of people woke up to the sounds of explosions and the piercing roar of planes.  The most terrible morning in the history of independent Ukraine is the morning when the war began.
We started to calculate our lives in days and hours...
Today, Ukrainian artists are as living stories about indomitability, pain and emptiness.
They are writing annals.  They are drawing February 2022. A daily report about our Independence, about what we struggle with, what we dream about and the thoughts we live with.
