As an artist, each Künstlerhaus member has their own studio in the house.
Membership in the Künstlerhaus Dortmund is linked to a studio in the house and the willingness to volunteer to support the association's activities, in particular the development and implementation of an exhibition program of distinction.
An application for membership is possible at any time, independent of current calls for applications; a waiting list exists for this case.
Members have access to all facilities of the house such as equipment pool, internet access, wood workshop etc. and a comprehensive information network.
We expect an informative portfolio with a maximum of 12 pages and works from the last three years, an artistic CV and full contact details.
In addition to the presentation of your own artistic work, we also ask for a brief outline of your own curatorial experience, projects and ideas.
Please send applications in a single PDF of maximum 10 MB (if necessary with a link to a video available online) and only by e-mail to Künstlerhaus Dortmund: buero@kh-do.de
After reviewing the application documents received, a decision will be made as to which candidates will be invited to a personal interview at the general meeting. The members will then decide on the admission.
