As an artist, each Künstlerhaus member has their own studio in the house.
Membership in the Künstlerhaus Dortmund is linked to a studio in the house and the willingness to volunteer to support the association's activities, in particular the development and implementation of an exhibition program of distinction.
An application for membership is possible at any time, independent of current calls for applications; a waiting list exists for this case.
Members have access to all facilities of the house such as equipment pool, internet access, wood workshop etc. and a comprehensive information network.
Written applications (applications by e-mail cannot be considered) with portfolio of artistic work, curriculum vitae, catalogs, indication of possible curatorial experience, etc. please send to:
After reviewing the application documents received, a decision will be made as to which candidates will be invited to a personal interview at the general meeting. The members will then decide on the admission. Application documents can only be returned if a sufficiently stamped envelope is enclosed.
