In my series of works, idyll and drama often lie close together: ascending growth and threatening decay alternate, form reversals. There are levels of tension between abstracted illusory spatiality, neoromantic emotional excitement, classically constructed image construction and informal gestures. Everything is moved, sensually accentuated, precisely located at the vague.
I would like to call my pictures from the series "ALBUM K" "painted proofs". I give them white borders, similar to the borders of earlier analog photographic prints. They are conserved, collected in numbered boxes. They are presented in heterogeneous sequences, intuitively hung in grids, or focused as individual images in a panorama-like manner.
The pictures from the series "Land over" bring gestures and independence of abstraction more to the fore, revel in the painterly agitation of abstract expressionism and ultimately condense mostly to landscape-like structures.
